I just signed a petition for a very worthy cause. I’ll quote the email they want me to send to everybody (but simply won’t - this is more effective):

Hi, Did you know the Government is proposing an internet censorship scheme that goes further than any other democracy in the world? I’ve just signed a petition to prevent the scheme that will make the internet up to 87% slower, more expensive, accidentally block up to one in 12 legitimate sites, will miss the vast majority of inappropriate content and is very easily sidestepped. The government of the day may add any ‘unwanted’ site to a secret blacklist under the scheme. Our Government should be doing all in its power to take Australia into the 21st century economy, and to protect our children. This proposed internet censorship does neither. Can you join me and take action on the net today to save the net?

What happens when you mash up Lil Jon and the TV show LazyTown? (NSFW)

Presenting the KEYBOARD for blondes bimbos (because to say this is for blondes is offensive, they’re known to be intelligent, y’know). It’s basically a normal keyboard painted pink with pink keys and pink LEDs (I think), but the bimbo part comes with the keys which have changed. There’s the usual QWERTY alphabet, but some keys have been renamed to reflect their purpose for the kind of person who may use it.

Alt becomes “Another Useless Key”, Control “Totally Useless Key”, backspace “Oops!” and the Windows Key a girly flower. There I was thinking the pink keyboard/mouse with rhinestones combo was offensive. Clicky to check it out and possibly buy it.

Ahh, Yahoo! Answers. That site which comes up in Google when I need to find out about something and wikipedia can’t help. Being powered by the users it is possible one may get an answer resulting in hurt feelings. For example, the question was asked:

How can I get my labrador dog to stop urinating and defacating on me while I’m sleeping?

The best answer as voted by the community?

A H AH AH AHA HAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA

I have to admit I think the situation of the person asking the question is both terrible and hilarious all at once. Some of the other answers are pure comedic gold (whether intendentional or not). An example:

Turn the tables.
Next time you find the dog fast asleep, urinate or defecate on it.
Maybe after a few of these it will stop.
If that fails put the animal down and start over with a new dog.

While looking up videos (not tracks, videos) I hadn’t unlocked yet in DJ Max 3 I noticed that they’re in widescreen - not having seen a widescreen video on Youtube I wondered what would happen if I embedded one in a post? Would it ruin the websites design or be reduced to make it fit? (I use a plugin to embed videos, not the copy and paste code for the videos). Let’s see!
