Just after dinner last night I thought I'd try cooking some eggs in the air fryer, hesitant as I was knowing what happens to eggs in a microwave I plunged straight in risking a messy clean-up if things went awry, thankfully there was no explosion to be heard. I did them for 15 minutes at 180°c.

A disturbing sight indeed.

I found it to be dry (this seems to be a common theme with air frying, how do you get a dry egg?!), perhaps less time would be yield a better result. I'd also like to point out the struggle with peeling (the shell broke into 1mm pieces) but I've been told you need to run it under cold water right away for peeling. I might return to this later but for now I consider this a successful failure (in that it didn't explode but was not appealing).
