G'day. Hello, how do you do? Welcome to my blog where I share things I find interesting - personal projects, memes, tech stuff, random thoughts. Every word is my own, without the gloss of Generative AI - it's a great tool but I don't want to augment my voice, at least not yet.

Living in Melbourne, Victoria I've always tinkered with computers which I've turned into a career as an IT manager in the education sector. I've built up and knocked down homelabs in my time with a mix of technologies, broken stuff over and over so I could fix them in different ways and learn how they work.

I'm fascinated by alternate timelines, am an automotive enthusiast and like to see behind the scenes and learn how things work. I'm an open source advocate but will use a combination of FOSS and commercial hardware and software; whatever get's the job done most effectively.
